ADJUSTMENTS

We try our best to provide the most accurate/precise fitting pieces but in some cases minor adjustments are necessary to get the perfect fit. Here are some basic guidelines for minor adjustments:

  1. Assess the Fit:

    • Loose Fit: The grill may shift or fall off easily.
    • Tight Fit: Can cause discomfort or irritation.
  2. Tools:

    • Clean hands: Essential for hygiene.
    • Soft cloth: To protect the grill's surface.
    • Pliers (optional): For very minor adjustments.
  3. Adjustment Techniques:

    • Loose Fit:

      • Gently squeeze: If the grill is slightly loose, try gently squeezing it together at the back to make it slightly narrower.
      • Use pliers (with caution): If necessary, use pliers to very slightly bend the back of the grill inward. Apply minimal pressure to avoid damaging the grill.
    • Tight Fit:

      • Gently bend outward: If the grill feels too tight, very carefully use pliers to slightly bend the back of the grill outward.
  4. Test Fit:

    • After each adjustment: Try the grill on to see if the fit has improved.
    • Make small adjustments: Don't try to make drastic changes at once.

Important Notes:

  • Avoid excessive force: Bending the grill too much can damage it.
  • Hygiene: Always clean your hands and the grill thoroughly before and after any adjustments.

Remember: Dental grills are meant to be worn for short periods. Prolonged wear can increase the risk of oral health issues.
